Selena GomezSELENA Gomez hates reading gossip about her love life — because it causes her emotional pain.

The Wizards Of Waverly Place star says she is “hurt” by the recent rumors linking her to Jonas Brothers rocker Nick Jonas.

The romance rumor mill went into meltdown (honestly!) when Gomez visited Jonas in Chicago.

“People can talk about me all they want, but it really hurts me when they start to talk about my friends — I get really protective about that, that’s when I think it goes too far,” she said.

However, Nick quite likes the rumors.

[It's] not so much a surprise. It’s flattering, and that’s how you have to look at it,” he said.

“The thing that’s kind of funny to me is the fact that I’m still very young, and as far as a relationship, it’s kind of young stuff, and people being interested in that is funny to me, but it’s all good.”

    Why is she hurt by this? People aren’t saying anything wrong! There linking her to like the #1 hearthrob in America and Shes insulted??? It’s not like they said ‘omg Selena is such a fucking pig, her and Nick are such a gross couple. Both of them are fat ugly douches’ I love selena but I think she gets defencive when people bring up true rumors

    She’s hurt coz it’s not nice that gossipers talk about her personal life and I would be to because some of the rumors are not nice and you wouldn’t like it if press and papparazzi payed things about who’s dating and who’s breaking about you !!

    I can understand why Selena is upset.The papparazzi think that whenever they see best friends or exes, they automatically think that they are dating.I personally think that the papparazzi are pigs!
