Adam Lambert Wants to Experiment With His Sexuality

Adam LambertADAM Lambert says he likes making out with girls “from time to time”.

The American Idol runner-up — who is openly gay — admits he is keen to experiment with his sexuality.

“I like making out with girls from time to time. I have this curiosity at the back of my mind. I’ve never had sex with a woman and I’m a little bit curious about it,” he said.

Lambert recently revealed that he met pop superstar Madonna “for five minutes” at her New York apartment and the pair spoke about the pressures of life in the public eye.

“It was wild, I’ve looked up to her as a popstar… She came in with no make-up, yoga wear, totally Zen and her presence is very powerful, very intense,” he said last month.

“The first thing I said was, ‘Oh my God!’. I said, ‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry. I’m just really intimidated right now’. And she said, ‘Why?’

“‘Because I love you!’ And she said, ‘So love equals intimidation for you?’ And I said, ‘Yeah, pretty much. Most of the time, I think, when I feel love, that’s the way it manifests itself at first’.

“I talked to her about celebrity and how to deal with it all. [She said], ‘Just keep your eye on the prize and put your blinders up. Don’t get sidetracked with all the extra fuss’.”

Yippee for Adam! Whatever floats your boat….

  2. Meli24 says:

we already know that, tell me something we don’t know. we already know he’s bicurious, its just with who, now, that is the real question and when and who’s going to be that lucky lady he is going to be sleeping with. thats what i want to know. i hate to say this but i hope its kesha, because he really seems to like her, so i don’t know. you all can speculate i don’t care.

Yes Adam, do have a baby someday. Somebody that’s really yours and not just adopted. I’m like that baby. Coming from a conservative society, it takes a lot to own up that my father was gay. He’s now deceased. And now, my son is also gay. I don’t tell that to anybody. It’s hereditary on their part. My father was the gentlest creature I know. It was from him I got my varied talents. He didn’t want to be gay if he had a choice, so he got married and fathered us. I witnessed his dilemna, and it hurt. Once, I overheard him telling my Mom when i was 5 years old, ” You’d just better kill me, because I’m this way.” They were fighting in the middle of the night. They thought my brother and I were asleep. Of course, our mother take it out on us at times, especially me the eldest- so I was a battered child. At least now, our society is more accepting of gays. They can still have children without hiding in a marriage. Now divulging this is also a step to some healing in me. I’m now a Municipal Health Officer in a Health Center here in the Philippines. Haven’t found yet another physician like me who feels so strongly for Adam. But maybe, this is why.

Being curious is not the same as wanting to experiment. Your article is very misleading. And, Adam’s album is # 21 on the Top 40 Rolling Stone and it’s reader’s voted Adam # 1 Artist Of The Year. On Billboard top 200 Albums- Adam co-incidently is # 21 on that chart also. Everyone is soooooooooo interested in Adam’s personal sex life, I’m wondering is he is the only one who has one-since people who are fulfilled in their sexual life don’t care about some celebritie’s. Interesting , huh ? Yup. Adam is living his life and we are spectators.

  5. Meli24 says:

i hate to say this, but i hope he doesn’t use protection, that way we could have a baby lambert on the way, yeah.

  6. wow says:

Way to twist his words :/
    What a misleading article.

Wanting to experiment makes you Bi-sexual. Bi-CURIOUSITY is not the same thing.

I’m a straight girl and I’ve not only kissed other girls, I’ve fantasized about making out and even sleeping with a hot girl. But I know I’m going to end up with a man. Being curious and having fun does not make me a lesbian nor does it make me “Bi-sexual”.

It’s funny how the media seem the most interested in sexual-related comments Adam makes. If he says for a milli-second “I like kissing girls, sometimes” ONCE, the blogs spread it 10 billion X like wildfire.

If he talks about his MUSIC and about LIFE, no matter how incredible and intelligent and fascinating it is, the tabloids don’t care. They only focus on ONE thing. Sad.

Comment #1, ww Ke$ha are you kidding me????????????

I will lose all respect for him if the first girl he sleeps with is KESHA LMAO. I feel sick just thinking about it omg.

He should have chemistry with the girl, she should be sexy and hot and tanned and slim but CLASSY. Not a f*****g immature, rude skan.k like her LOL.

  8. Meli24 says:

ok, you might be right, heso, kesha might not be the best one for him. but he sure has a lot in common with her, considering they both love glitter and can sing. it was just a suggestion, so don’t think too much into it. you can suggest some others if you like.

  9. Alex says:

It’s funny how straight people always wind up when Adam tell something like this. Especially all his female fans of course. But I understand, because he need talking about “oh, it’s interesting” from time to time for all those girls. Well, girls, hope springs eternal :) Even if he’ll try one day out of curiosity he’ll never turn to straight. All hope abandon ye who enter here.

  10. mrs john sheppard says:

tells us something we dont know. so fine hes curious so what we all know he has this thing for kesha so hey it might even happen but who knows if i was her i would do him heck ill do alfonso herrera if i had a chance too.

  11. Lisa says:

Oh dear. I thought America would finally have a young and proud openly gay star, but I was wrong. He is going down the obvious route and “neutralizing” his sexuality to appeal to the masses. It’s disappointing that he is playing the bi-curious card so early in his career and after making such a point of coming out of the closet. Feels rather like a sell-out to the gay community. Sadly.

    • Meli24 says:

but remember, he did say it, so that in a way keeps people interested. it kinda gives us hope that one day he’ll try out his curiousity and love it.

      • Lisa says:

If Adam talks about possible sex with women to keep his female fans interested in him, then he is a sell-out. And he is sending a wrong message to gay kids in America that mainstream success in music industry will come at the cost of feigning bisexuality or heterosexuality. If he has an integrity, he could have said, “I don’t want to act straight to sell more albums, I am who I am. I don’t want to pretend to be something I am not just to caiter to the female fans. I want to show that opnely gay people can be successful too.” You must realize why people would think he’s a sell-out.

    • megan says:

Why should his sexuality have any influence on his career? He is trying to be a successful artist, just because he is gay why should he have to be a figure for the gay community just because he happens to be gay? He is in the entertainment business not an activist mission!

      • Lisa says:

I thought Adam announced publicly that he is gay because he wanted to be true to his sexuality as an out and proud gay man. What was the poinf of his coming out if he wants to going out of his way to contradict his sexuality by talking about sex with women every chance he gets? I’m dissapointed that Adam-the “edgy” entertainer who supposedly likes to push boundaries-has sold himself out to be just what a heterosexist society wants him to be. Funny, you never see any out and proud lesbian entertainers feeling up men or talking about men as a potential love/lust interest. Maybe it’s because personal integrity means more to them than sheer popularity?

    • Sandra says:

I don’t think his comments are a sell-out to the gay community. He has stated more that once he is gay. But your comments go to the gay-not gay-enough syndrome.

However, Adam has also said on many occasions he is up for trying anything new. Granted those comments were about other subjects at the time, but he is a free spirit and I believe he is up for new experiences.

He has said he’s never had sex with a girl and someday he may be curious. Should the right person at the right time spark that flame of passion or lust I fully think he could act on it. And if he likes it could become bi-sexual. I don’t think it will happen anytime soon, but to mark an event like this as a sell-out to the gay community seems selfish and bigoted.

Adam is growing and changing and is free to modify his sexual course if he wants. Sometimes I even think he is planting that seed now in case it should ever happen so the fandom will not have a total meltdown if not prepared for the idea. In any event, I support whatever choices he makes and so should others!

      • Lisa says:

Adam is a 28 years old guy. There’s a certain point at which experimentation/curiosity being masked under the cover of inexperience and youthful indiscretion cannot be taken seriously. If Adam is truely attracted to both sexes, why no girlfriend ever? He has been living in Hollywood for years and he must have met PLENTY of pretty girls to date. And It’s so much easier for a bi guy to find girlfriends. That’s why I don’t believe that he will suddenly find a “right girl” and start having a heterosexual relationship. It’s obvious to me that he is “catering” to the female fans since they think they might be “the one” to convert him.

  12. Patty says:

I think Adam is ready to explore the sexual female experience. Who knows — he may like it better than sex with men. Any takers? (I see many hands up !)

  13. Lynn says:

This story is ancient history. He made the comment about making out with girls sooooooooo long ago.

  14. megan says:

I don’t think talking about curiosity is a sell out, as some are inferring! He is comfortable talking about sexuality and is being honest with his thoughts. He is admittedly a gay man, and is proud, but anyone who is honest with themselves have curiosities and fantasies! It is just that he is comfortable to honestly address them, whereas many people would not care to admit their own inner thoughts. He IMHO is not trying to appeal to the “masses”! It is not his fault that everyone who interviews him keeps pressing his sexuality and putting the questions out there for him to comment on. He is unfiltered and not ashamed to answer truthfully.

  15. Openminded says:

They guy have a great voice but would be a better selling artist if he toned down the erotica. Big news, a guy likes to make out with girls and thinks about having sex with them.

  16. Sam says:

So he’s curious what does it matter? He’s allowed to be curious, and like megan said, he isn’t a gay activist, he’s a PERFORMER. He’s got a fantastic stage presence, he’s got an outstanding voice, and he’s just fabulous. So what if he says he thinks about it? Doesn’t mean he’s acting like he’s bi.

  17. toni leandro says:

Adam is great, but PLEAAASEEEEEEEEEEEEE do me a favor and don’t call yourself gay ok? Your bi if your curiouse about having sex with a lady. This is just ammo for the folks who argue that gay is a “choice”, and not something that you are.
I am gay, and I don’t appricate it, sorry it is not a choice.

  18. Francis says:

It’s Adam’s business. Since when is bisexuality heterosexist? Besides, one sniff at the ladies and he’s gonna howl his way outta that one, believe me.

  19. Lisa says:

I expect a man who comes out as a proud gay to express only sexual interest in men, not women. I would have absolutely NO problem whatsoever if he admitted to being bisexual. In fact, it would make a lot more sense to me if he did because then he would not contradict himself.
If he wants people to believe or even accept that he’s gay, then he needs to stop acting like a hetero-pacifying bisexual. If he is attracted to both sexes then he just needs to say he’s bisexual not bicurious and then end of story. Don’t come out with a big story saying “I’m gay” and then come out with erotic photos with a naked woman and talk about his sexual interest in women in almost every interview. You say it’s Adam’s business, but he is a public figure. He’s certainly not proving that “sexuality doesn’t matter”. In fact, he’s proving that sexuality still matters–a lot–and that heterosexuality matters most of all, because its mass-marketable.
