JOHN Mayer has told pals he hooked up with Taylor Swift when they were both in Nashville, Tenn., on January 24.

In Touch Weekly magazine claims the couple — Taylor, 20, and John, 32 — met up several times, in public and private, and were first seen getting cozy in a recording studio.

“She was sitting on John’s lap, her arms were around him, and she was talking in his ear,” revealed a source.

“They were acting like teenagers.”

On the same night, the duo reportedly dined at the restaurant Cabana and were joined by friends afterward. They left alone and went back to The Hermitage Hotel, where they arrived in the loading dock to avoid being spotted and were escorted to John’

“Taylor spent the night and enjoyed mid-morning room service before leaving his suite the next day,” said the source.

Insiders recently revealed that Swift and Mayer — Swayer? — are more than just friends.

“Taylor and John are absolutely more than ‘just friends,’” said one pal.

“They aren’t ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ or anything as provincial as that, but they have taken their friendship to the next level.”
