I am close in age with JA, and many of my peers feel the same way about marriage. Gen Y has been exposed to working mothers, single parents, gay parents, live-in relationships, step parents, divorce, and traditional marriage. Many gen yers are exhausted living up to the image of marriage and its complexity, and they are creating their own family values- even if they are a collage. With women initiating most divorces in America, women in America have become more independent, but few like JA become interdependent. I admire JA for having a simple wedding that focused on commitment and not OK’s mag sales. Also, I understand America rewards married couples with many opportunities single or common law couples are not given. I think she is like the Ryan Seacrest of female actresses, hard-working.

i agree with Sandy. she just contradicted herself. She’s confusing. A tv show shouldn’t make you want to adopt, the idea of giving love to a familyless child should.

Jessica Alba has to be one of the most confused,ignorant, obtuse, self-centered women in Hollywood. And considering some of the competition for the title, thats saying alot. She contradicts herself at every turn; I don’t think she has a clue about what it is to have an identity or self esteem – She’s just another pretty bimbo who can’t act, and makes rash statements to get attention because her acting career, while financially lucrative, stinks because of her lack of talent.
