Adam Lambert Wants a Torrid Affair!

ADAM Lambert wants to have a “torrid affair” — because he’s too busy to commit to a proper relationship!

The American Idol runner-up — who last year split from his interior designer beau Drake LaBry — insists he’s enjoying the single life.

“My heart craves that, but now is not the time for it. So in the meantime I’m gonna have fun. I love a torrid affair,” he told The Times.

Lambert, 28, recently revealed that he’s keen to experiment with his sexuality.

“I like making out with girls from time to time. I have this curiosity at the back of my mind. I’ve never had sex with a woman and I’m a little bit curious about it,” he said.

Adam has previously revealed that he’s only ever been in love once.

“My life has changed so much, I’m not sure what my needs are anymore,” he said in a November ’09 interview with the USA Today newspaper. “At the moment, it’s probably difficult to have a relationship.

“I’m going to be doing a lot of growing in the next couple years. I’ve only been in two relationships, and really, really in love just one time. That’s one part of my life I’m learning about — my heart.”

    Now that you said all that…BACK TO THE MUSIC..Lets talk about Adams music for a while..getting kind of tired of the media talking about everything but the most Talented singer out of AI..This is what you get when you are HONEST with people. I guess this is why people lie in showbiz about their private lives. It does not pay to be honest about who you are..I would lie too…THIS IS RIDICULOUS…ADAM ROCKS…FYE buy it..unbeleiveable song.

    Stephen you couldn’t have said it better. The media just want to talk sex and glitz. Adam has put out a remarkable album ‘For Your Enterainment’ which has gotten excellent reviews and yet very few in the media are talking about it. Though Lyndsey Parker did a great front porch interview and they talked music alot! Adam is very knowledgable about music and the album is great.

    Stephen, JLM, Jana said it all. Adam is a wonderful singer and For Your Entertainment is a great album. Adam could have sang better than anybody who performed in the Grammy Awards 2010. I miss his live performance on TV. By the way, he looks handsome and outstanding in the white.

    Agreeing with Stephen…Adam’s music should be the main focus. His album is absolutely amazing! He is fine to look at for both men and women so I can see why anything to do with “sex” is talked about, however he is so much more than that.

    Enough already re Adam’s love life. I’m tired of interviewers trying to put him in a box sexually. Have any of you considered how uncomfortable your facile questions must make him? He has sooooooo much savvy that he knows just the right answer for each insipid question. Go, Adam!!

    You know what would really be NEWSWORTHY? One of these blogs ACTUALLY asking/reporting info about ADAM’s PHENOMENAL album “FOR YOUR ENTERTAINMENT” … that’s the name. ADAM is TOO DANG NICE to all these gossip rags … just ONCE I’d like him to say “I’ve already answered that question several times … can we talk about my MUSIC THIS TIME?” With that WONDERFUL DISARMING SMILE of his. He did in-depth interviews with Michael Slezak & Jim Cantiello that were so INFORMATIVE & FUN about each track on his album … I keep watching them over & over … so should some of these ‘wannabe’ reporters … ADAM is the REAL DEAL!!!

    “Outstanding”"incredible”"unbelievable” are just some of the praise of Adam’s singing by American Idol judges, from mentors, from guest artists, from music critic, from popular singers- and his album is really good, so if you aren’t able to compose an article about an remarkable new singer, at least stay out of his personal life. Perhaps getting your mind off of Adam’s sexual life, and learing how to write like a real journalist would serve you and us better.

    I think that Adam is the most charming artist in music that I have heard in a long time….Love every minute of his interviews and the ones from Canada was the best….they were down to earth…Love “For Your Entertainment” and my favorites are “Whatdaya want from me” and Music Again….

    I am so happy to read all of these great responses talking about Adam’s tremendous talent. i agree that his new album is AMAZING. It is one of my all time favorites. The obsession that most articles have with Adam’s sexuality and personal life is beyond boring. I think I only want to read articles about him written by Michael Sleazak, Lindsay Parker, Jim Cantiello, and most Canadian journalists. They seem to know how to focus on what really matters.

    I absolutely love Adam! I think he is SOOO TALENTED. I love his FYE album! I play it all the time. It stirs me up and makes me happy! I wish people could look beyond the fact that he is gay and appreciate his music and voice! Lighten up everyone! He is fantastic!

    handsome and #1 in my opinion…..Everyone who knows him
    loves him for his sincerity. Put it this way Adam Lambert
    is one in a million. His vocals are unbelievable…he can
    sing anything……He has done so much just this one year
    and everyone who in in touch with him are very impressed!!!!
    His album is terrific……I love it. I think everyone
    is mesmerized by his voice……(resembles Elvis)in some

    Love everything about him – voice, looks, speaking abilities. I think he must have a wise, old soul. How can one person be so “it”. I look forward to great and thought provoking things from him for years to come:-)

    One day the media is going to be very sorry that they only talked about this crap. Adam is a whole person, not just his sexuality. Enough already. Adam is the most exciting performer that ever was. His voice is beyond compare. FYE is the best album I have heard in a long time. It is eclectic and with something for everyone. He just rocks and glams, but also gives us the most beautiful, ballads that touches your soul. I have never heard a voice as incredibly beautiful as Adam’s. His passion for music is what made me love music again. In every song, and in every performance he gives you all of himself and you become completely admonized. Media, please become enlightened. Stop, listen and finally get it.

    okay, its enough with adam lambert’s sexuality. people need to stop speculating on who he’s sleeping with or wants to sleep with. its up to adam lambert on who he wants to sleep with. adam lambert, first of all, is a very sexual person to begin with, so we all know what adam lambert’s like, whether he sleeps with a woman or a man, its all good, in adam lambert’s words.

    I have to somewhat agree with the follower posters and Adam fans. As an Adam fan, I love reading any positive press about Adam. Listening to or watching or reading his interviews. I would love Adam to be happy in his personal life, because I am a super fan of his. But I also want there to be focus on the music. Adam has been out of the spotlight for some time now. His most recent appearance was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, to sing “Strut” for her birthday, and donated his underwear to be auctioned for The Haitian Earthquake Relief. I thought it was smart for Adam to sing, not do yet another interview about the AMAs, his personal life, etc, but to focus on why many of us fell for him in the first place, his talent. Adam is an amazing singer and performer, and I hate naysayers complaining that all Adam talks about is his personal life, his sexual orientation. In order for Adam to be taken seriously as an artist,not be called a flash in the pan, or just hype, the next interviews will have to be primarily about the CD FYE, and his next single. I do understand that unlike many famous singers before him: Melissa Etheridge, Elton John, George Michael and Clay Aiken (to name just a few) Adam chose to talk about his sexual orientation immediately, not waiting until his first CD was release. Adam couldn’t be accused of exploiting his orientation to publicized his music. He chose to be honest with his fans immediately, which is one of the reasons we love him. After the AMAs, the attack against Adam and his performance took on a social and even political turn. He unwittingly became a target, and he defended himself beautifully, and remained honest, and rightly, unapologetic. But like Adam, his fans want him to have the longevity because of his music. FYE is one of the best CDs I’ve heard in a long time. I listen to every song, on my iPod. When journalists only make Adam’s personal life a a focal point, his music gets lost, and some forget what a great musician he is. As a fan I don’t want that to happen.
