Angelina JolieANGELINA Jolie is planning to extend her brood by adopting an earthquake orphan from Haiti.

The actress — who recently paid a trip to the Dario Contreras Hospital in the Dominican Republic — apparently met with the country’s president Leonel Fernandez and, according to reports, spoke to him about the possibility of a Haitian becoming her seventh child.

Angelina is a goodwill ambassador the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees and UNICEF, and was joined on her trip by Gonzalo Vargas Llosa, the son of Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa.

Jolie and her partner Brad Pitt have three biological kids plus Maddox, eight, adopted from Cambodia; Zahara, five; from Ethiopia and Pax, six; from Vietnam.

“She’s made no secret of her desire to adopt again,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“Children in Haiti need help. It’s a perfect opportunity.”

In a recent interview with the Australian edition of Marie Claire magazine, Jolie revealed she “didn’t want to get pregnant” until she met Pitt.

“When I met him…I didn’t want to get pregnant,” she said.

“I always wanted to adopt, but I never had the desire of experiencing biological motherhood.

“I want to raise my children correctly and help them to understand the inequality that exists in the world.”
