Rihanna’s Rumored Beau: ‘She’s Just a Friend’

RIHANNA’s rumored beau Matt Kemp insists he isn’t dating the Umbrella singer — they’re just good friends.
The pair sparked romance rumors when Matt followed Ri to Abu Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, where she had a gig performing at the Emirates Palace on New Years Eve.
Rihanna was then snapped smooching the 25-year-old LA Dodgers star during a romantic vacation in the Mexican resort of Cabo San Lucas.
But Kemp has told MLB that his relationship with the pop superstar is strictly platonic.
“She’s just a friend, a good friend of mine and we went down to Mexico and had fun together,” he said.
“I didn’t think all that would come out of it, it just happened. I’m not used to that much attention to my personal life. It’s really not that big a deal. But in L.A., doing things here, you’re under a microscope, they’re examining everything you’re doing. It’s L.A., man, the city we live in. It is what it is. Can’t control what happens.”
