Angelina Jolie Buys Brad Pitt an Olive Tree

Angelina Jolie and Brad PittANGELINA Jolie has bought Brad Pitt an olive tree for Valentine’s Day (14.02.10).

The actress — who raises six children with Brad — will surprise him on the romantic day with the 200-year-old plant, which cost $30,000, for their French home, the Chateau Miraval.

“Angelina bought it from a nursery called The English Garden Centre in Valbonne, near their house,” a source said. “It’s a very special tree and cost her a fortune.”

Olive trees symbolize peace, longevity and stability and it is believed Angelina has bought the plant for Brad to further quash recent split
rumors.

The couple put on a very solid show of unity at the Super Bowl in Florida on Sunday (07.02.10) taking their eight-year-old son Maddox to watch the annual American football championship game.

The Valentine’s Day gift from Angelina, 34, may be an expensive purchase, but the pair — who are both known for their lavish spending — recently donated $1 million to help earthquake victims on the Caribbean island of Haiti.

    You’ve got to be kidding me! She is famously on record as saying she doesn’t believe in Valentine’s Day gift giving and now she’s buying him an “olive tree” as a peace offering? Some insane pr rep is letting this story out and thinks it sounds “special” but it’s really so phony and transparent. After the Super Bowl dog and pony show, this convinces me more than ever that their “love” is a bunch of baloney!

    my sentiments as well! who will be spitting the pitts out of the olives, Angelina herself. she is a master manipulator, a female hitler in disguise. I guess Brad found that out the hard way PITT’s way! the countdown is on. first the superbowl, then Haiti all well publized propaganda and not PR!

      Angelina Jolie is not perfect, then again no one is.
      But if she did buy this present for Brad why can’t you just say, good for them and let it be. Why must you want to turn everything into something negative? Just because you don’t like her doesn’t mean that she is bad or anything like that. You don’t know Angelina or Brad or any of them. If she wants to buy a house, a jet or anything and give it to Brad how is that a terrible thing to where you must reply with “she is a master manipulator, a female hitler in disguise”. How terrible for anyone to say that about a woman that does so much for the poor and even in this country. No matter what she does people like you are obsessed that she is bad, well I say let them be. I believe that she was very confused when she was young but has come to the point where she is becoming a better person. Anyone can change!
      If Brad wants out then he will leave her, if he doesn’t then he will stay with her. If they are really in love then I say wish them the best. STOP THE HATE

      They are just people. They do what they can to help, they are not forced to and yet they do. They have 3 biological children and 3 adopted kids who they love as their own. I think they have good reasons to want to change for the best, to want to help others and to be in love with each other.

      I am tired of all the hate, if you can’t say something nice don’t say nothing at all. Stop the hate. I am not asking you to love them, but please just stop the cycle were you must comment to make others believe they are bad. Life is not black and white and no one goes through life getting everything right. Believe in second chances and give people the benefit of a doubt.

        1.why all of people are thinking that jen’s trying to make angie’s peace go away?and why she should say jen is the person who wants to take brad away????why all of us wants to say that jen is heartbroken and she wants to have brad and say hahahah

    did she specifically say that it’s a VALENTINE GIFT? or did it come out of some idiot’s mouth? come on, she could have bought the tree months or weeks ago and just because it was on the news this feb, people are quick to think that it was a valentine gift. is there a live interview where she categorically state that it was a valentine’s day gift? want to see it, give me the link pls. otherwise, let’s just say it was another media-twisted story.

    I just love Angie and Brad, they look good together. I don’t hate Jen but she must move on. Marry her boyfriend and have children. Angie may have been wild when she was younger but change found her, she is a better person now. I am very happy for her.
