TAYLOR SWIFT TO PUT CAREER AHEAD OF LOVE LIFE?

Taylor SwiftTAYLOR Swift has been told to put her love life on hold for the sake of her career.

Insiders say Taylor’s mom/manager, Andrea, fears the singer being linked to various guys will have a detrimental affect on her clean-cut image and distract the LoveStory singer from her work.

Taylor, 20, recently split from Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner and his since been linked to ladies’ man John Mayer and Glee star Cory Monteith.

“Andrea has told Taylor in no uncertain terms that she must put her career ahead of dating boys,” a source said. “Andrea, who has a firm grip on her daughter’s career and personal life, thinks Taylor has worked far too hard to let everything go to the wall for the sake of a boy.

“Taylor just wants someone to love; but she understands that her white-hot career is the most important thing right now.”

Recent reports claimed that when Swift first hooked up with Mayer, Andrea told him to back off.

“Andrea has told John point blank to back off,” a source said.

“All John could do was to offer Andrea a compliment on raising a lovely daughter.

“He said he understood completely, and it was an honor enough to call Taylor his friend.”

“She said a friendship was fine, but there was no way he’d get close enough to Taylor to break her heart if she had anything to say about it.”

    I dont think she ever “hooked up” with John Mayer. I think they went out as artists/friends and the media spun it into something that is totally was not. She is to good for that creepy guy and everyone knows that he is not her type. I think her parents may have said this b/c of the negative media attention Taylor has been receiving just for even being seen with this creep. Taylor L was not so bad, he is more her type.
