Ellen DeGeneres ‘Demands $150k Wardrobe Allowance For American Idol’
ELLEN DeGeneres wants a $150k wardrobe allowance for her judging stint on American Idol — and sources say she won’t be taking no for answer!
The chat show star — who replaced Paula Abdul on the hit TV talent show — apparently wants to wear custom-made threads while she’s on the show, and is keen for Idol bosses to foot the bill.
“Ellen has demanded $150,000 for her Idol wardrobe this year,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer,” and she won’t take no for an answer.
“Ellen feels it’s only fair because Paula received a hefty allowance for hair, makeup and wardrobe.”
The source said that Ellen — who’s known for wearing jeans, slacks and blouses — “wants to create a whole new look for Idol.
“She’s envisioning couture evening wear designed just for her — not dresses, but hand-made suits, pants and shirts, as well as vests.”

Bwahahahaha!!! I doubt Ellen is demanding anything like that. You can tell she doesn’t fuss over “special” wardrobe. If you watch her show you can see that she usually just wears what she wore on her talk show to Idol. She’s cool like that.
