Carrie Underwood’s Fiance ‘Had Enough of Media Attention’

Carrie UnderwoodCARRIE Underwood‘s hockey hunk fiance Mike Fisher has had enough!

Fisher — who didn’t officially appear in public with Underwood until Jan. 25, more than a month after the couple announced their engagement — apparently hates all the attention his and Carrie’s relationship is receiving.

“Mike’s told her that when he’s out with her, all the attention makes him uncomfortable,” revealed one loose-lipped insider.

“But now shes’ dressing him up and parading him around at events.

“He’s completely overwhelmed, between his own career, being Carrie’s escort and answering press questions and planning the wedding. He’s had enough for now!”

Carrie recently revealed that she’s keen for her and Mike to have a simple, low-key wedding.

“I think I want a small wedding, but I don’t think that’s going to happen,” she said last month.

    What a piece of trash for an article. Carrie isn’t parading him around and dressing him up. Their first official outing was for his team’s foundation and she was there supporting him. They have been to one of her events in the past year, so I doubt he is already sick of being her escort. He just took pictures and didn’t even do interviews so how can he be sick of talking to the press? The Ottawa media respects his privacy and if he doesn’t want to answer a question, he declines. He is a professional athlete that is used to being in the spotlight and speaking with the press. He is used to the attention. They have been together over a year, so I doubt all of a sudden he has had enough for now. What a crappy article. I don’t believe this for a second and that “insider” probably doesn’t even exist. Leave the happy couple alone!

    I think it’s terrible that people will say negative things just to get people talking. Leave them alone. I’m quite sure Mike & Carrie are doing fine and I truly believe that if you don’t hear words directly from a person’s lips then nothing is to be believed. Mike’s a big boy. He’s a hockey player who receives his own media attention. He’s certainly been interviewed before for hockey and if he was the least bit put off then I’m sure he’d say something. I think as a society we come to believe everything we read and we shouldn’t. We should respect privacy as we’d want our own to be respected. Leave Mike and Carrie alone and stop starting something that doesn’t really exist.

    haha tabloid garbage if i’ve ever read one!!…she doesnt parade him around so he goes to one event with her and now shes parading him around LOL…carrie is a private person she doesnt say much about her personal life its been over a year since they have been together and they have managed to stay lowkey…thats because they know how to hide from the media and they know when to come out and play when they want to…”sorry try again, no one is buying this piece of crap story!!”

    This is a sad piece of work, orginally written in the always wrong Star Mag!!! Mike said himself,in the Ottawa paper, that he had a great time at the Grammy’s …had fun, and was so happy to support Carrie, because she always supports him!! They have been to two public events, the first was in Canada and the second was the Grammys. He’s a professtional athelete, a big boy … and he handles it with flying colors!!!!!!!!

    exactly john. he is a man not a wimp..he can handle it and when you love someone you deal with it..i’m sure mike is man enough to stay with carrie despite that she is in the public eye because shes worth it for him and like he said she always supports him so he was there being a good fiance supporting her. she does a great job keeping things close to her that she doesnt want others to know.this garbage magazine is trying to start rumors that theres trouble between the two…”Paaaaaaaalease” and their trying to make carrie look bad…nice try, but its not working

    I have never understood the media’s obsession with Carrie Underwood. She is very quiet and private person so there is usually very little to talk about except her career. Maybe that adds to the obsession and the need to find the “gossip”.
