Elton John: ‘Jesus Was Gay’

Elton JohnROCK legend Sir Elton John has claimed Jesus was a “super-intelligent gay man”.

The openly homosexual musician made the claim in a magazine interview and admits he admires the Christian Messiah because his aim was to spread peace and love in the world.

“I think Jesus was a compassionate, super-intelligent gay man who understood human problems,” said Elton.

“On the cross, he forgave the people who crucified him. Jesus wanted us to be loving and forgiving.

“I don’t know what makes people so cruel. Try being a gay woman in the Middle East – you’re as good as dead.”

Elton also revealed he fears he could be killed by a crazed fan — just like John Lennon and Gianni Versace.

The 62-year-old singer was close friends with fashion designer Versace — who was shot dead in July 1997 on the steps of his Miami Beach mansion by Andrew Cunanan — and admits he decided to increase his personal security following the tragedy.

Referring to Versace and Lennon, he said, “Two of them shot outside their houses. None of this would have happened if they hadn’t been famous. Fame attracts lunatics. I never had a bodyguard ever until Gianni died. I don’t like celebrity anymore.”

Beatles legend Lennon died in 1980 after being shot by deranged fan Mark Chapman outside his apartment building in New York.

    Yo Elton, Jesus was the SON OF GOD, he did not need the pleasures of human flesh, he was above us so he definetly never ever would have had a man or woman, people always seem to forget that Jesus was actually not really human, he came to die for our sins then return to God in his true form, a form we humans can never understand so shut the heck up about him being Gay, unlike us, he was a man born without sin. And as a christian, I feel Insulted that you, a man who doesn’t even believe in God, would say a very disgusting thing. Look in the Bible Mr.Elton Jonh and you would read that God himself said he never created man for man, woman for woman. He created man and woman to be together, not the other way around but Jesus came to die for us and God is a loving forgiving father
    and only God may judge others but a man who doesn’t know the Bible or Jesus can ever say he was Gay. So shut up, Jesus did not need to have anyone, he came on the Earth only to show us the way to God and it angers me to see how people dare insult him, he did not Need Phsyical Pleasures, he needed no wealth, no money, women or the kingdoms of the Earth for his kingdom is greater and more beautiful than anything humans will ever possess. Jesus was a simple man and he was even tempted by the devil but turned the devil down in all his offers so unlike us, he refused the devil and all the things he was offered because his kingdom is in heaven and beautiful, his kingdom is eternal while our earth is sadly perishing every day.

    I personally believe in god and that jesus was not gay, but what i don’t understand how Crazy Kitten can go on and on about jesus and how pure he was when one of the first things they teach us in any church is “Judge not lest ye be judged”. Thats y i read things like this article and just laugh it off because just because they don’t believe in the same things i do doesn’t mean i can judge them they just have diffrent oppinions and in the end God will be the one to judge them not me.

    Jesus was indeed a simple man… far simpler that the Christian church. His job was to preach the new commandment of love in replacement of the Ten Commandments: Love others and love yourself.

    He did not say worship me (the Old Testament God did say that, but vanity and jealousy are petty human emotions), rather, he brought a renewed and selfless sense of respect, love and compassion.

    I am not religious but I grew up in very Catholic country in a private Catholic school. I am not religious because the teachings of Jesus do not aim at loving Jesus… they aim at loving everyone and loving everyone is not what the religion does.

    If Jesus were here today he would be embarrassed of today’s lavish church and a lot of church goers. My point is, he tried to teach a peaceful way of living, not a religion.

    Religions (not just Christianity) REJECT some under various ‘ancient book’ premises such as homosexuals, interracial couples, scientists, women, nature. Religions were allegedly founded in acceptance, respect and love of others… ALL others, not REJECTION.

    Jesus was great–Christianity (and many other religions) is not.
