Simon Cowell Wants Lady GaGa to Replace Him on Idol!

Lady GaGaLADY GaGa could be American Idol‘s newest judge if Simon Cowell gets his way!

Cowell — who leaves the TV talent show at the end of its current season to launch The X Factor in America — believes that Howard Stern, Elton John, Jamie Foxx and Madonna — who are rumored to be in talks to fill his shoes — wouldn’t be suitable replacements.

But the millionaire music mogul thinks GaGa would be a perfect fit for the show.

“I know Howard’s name has been in there for a while, but I’m fairly certain that there hasn’t been an approach at any time for Howard to do this show,”  Simon says.

“My advice would be to find somebody who actually knows what they’re talking about and has actually experienced success in the music business.

“I think we should have Lady Gaga. She is the most relevant pop artist in the world at the moment. I met her and she’s very smart. I like her.”

    Gaga is nothing more than a rip off artist. highly over-rated. enough with her already. she is not Madonna’s replacement. She has no where near enough experience or originality. Or maybe just let Gaga take the idol gig and kill her career and do us all a favor and let the ‘real’ talent still to be uncovered out there to take the limelight.

    I’ve never been a fan of any artistes. I just like certain songs for what they are – the lyrics, tune… I don’t care who sings them. But Lady Gaga did catch my attention – with her unusual fashion sense – which I think is very original – and yes, her songs are too – eg, Telephone

    I was watching Americon Idol mainly because of Paula Abdul and Simon Cowell but after his depature will not do so ;;;he knows what he is talking about and people should take his reccomendation to replace him wisely as it can affect the ratings of the show either way I will be one person who will stop watching it and will concentrate on other shows that he is involved hands on!!!!!!!!!It is a very great loss for the whole show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1;;;;;

    I love Lady Gaga. Contrary to most products called artists out there Gaga really has talant. Her shows and costumes are all top notch. Can’t wait to go to her concert soon again.

    Funny you talk about “real talent” being undiscovered. What do you think happened to Gaga? Her talent wasn’t enough, and she got rejected numerous times, so to get peoples attentions she had to go and play dress up. Not that I’m complaining, because it is fun to see, but to say that she’s talentless is just dumb.
