Helena Bonham Carter: ‘I Ain’t Posh’

Helena Bonham CarterSHE might have a double-barreled name, but Helena Bonham Carter insists she’s anything but posh.

The British actress — who raises two children with her film director partner Tim Burton — is the great-granddaughter of former prime minister Herbert Asquith.

But Helena is adamant she’s just like everyone else.

“Everyone thinks I’m posh but that’s shallow thinking and the biggest lie,” she said.

“They only think that because I’ve got three names – but that doesn’t make you posh.”

Helena, 43, recently insisted she’s become a “better actor” with age.
