LACEY SCHWIMMER QUITS DANCING WITH THE STARS!

Lacey SchwimmerLACEY Schwimmer has quit Dancing with the Stars.

The pro dancer took to her Twitter account over the weekend to announce she will not be part of the show’s 10th season.

“Hey twitterbugs! I will not be doing [Dancing with the Stars] this season. But be sure to tune in!,” she wrote.

“I’m sad I will not be on this season too yall! Biglove.”

Lacey — a former So You Think You Can Dance contestant and veteran of three DWTS seasons — is the second professional dancer to confirm they won’t be part of the new season; Jonathan Roberts also let the world know via his Twitter account that he won’t be taking part.

Schwimmer paired up with Iron Chef America host Mark Dacascos in the fall; she previously danced with Lance Bass and Steve-O. Roberts has partnered with Marie Osmond, Belinda Carlisle and Monica Seles.

      Melanie, Over 90% of all dancing on the show ‘SYTYCD’ is ‘solo’ dancing. Lacey is a ‘couples’ dancer. Lacey really didn’t have much of a chance to win. In the truest sense, Lacey is a great dancer. She knows dancing. ‘Solo’ dancing is an individual, or a group of individuals utilizing technical skills to perform on the street, on a stage on Broadway, but not on a dance floor. The name ‘Solo dancing’ needs to be changed to ‘Solo performing’ The two are like night and day, apples and oranges. They don’t belong in the same room. We really need Lacey, and her brother Benjie to perform many of the couples dances on the show ‘DWTS’. They are and can be very inspirational to the show….enough

    I loved Lacey on So You Think You Can Dance, She was one of my favorites. I was so glad to see her again on DWTS. I loved her routines they were always new and sometimes alittle quirky, she kept the judges on their toes. You will be sadly missed.

    Not sure why you say she quit. It say she will not be doing Danicng only. DWTS changes up the professional dancers all the time. Maybe they didn’t pick her this time? I think it’s a shame because I really like Lacey.

    I became a fan of Lacey on So You Think You Can Dance and was glad to see her join the cast of DWTS. She brought an avant garde dimension to the shows routines. She is edgy and a bit quirky while still exemplifying high professional standards. What ever she is doing now and in the future with her dancing I am sure will be exciting. I wish her all the best and look forward to new professional dancers on DWTS! Love the show! Love dance!

    Lacey did not quit.Just because she won’t be on this season, doesn’t mean that she won’t be asked for another season in the future…

    WATCH YOU SINCE YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE. WAS SO GLAD TO SEE YOU ON DANCING WITH STARS. YOU WOULD PUT A DIFFERN TWIST ON THE DANCES. TO BAD SOME JUDGES DID NOT AGREE. HOPE YOU WILL LET US KNOW WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING,SO WE CAN CONTUIE TO WATCH YOU GROW.

    I watch the show from England and Lacey was the only choreography I enjoyed watching.She has more edge than the others and I felt bought the show up to date!
    Without her & Julianne I wont be watching this season.

    I will miss Lacey too! She was a lot of fun on that show! It doesn’t look like Kim will be there either! I don’t like this years “stars” either. And how is Kate Gosselin a “star”? Nevermind the Bachelor guy either!? I hope Lacey shows up somewhere else, on another dancing show? Best wishes Lacey!
