ELLEN DeGeneres is a bit of a diva!

According to reports, Ellen is making waves on American Idol with her various demands.

“Ellen is insisting that her wife, Portia de Rossi, be a guest judge in a future episode of the reality show,” a show insider told In Touch Weekly magazine.

“And that’s not all — she’s also asking for a Mercedes, as a sign-on bonus — even though she’s already signed her contract. “She wants to do public appearances with Randy Jackson so that people will think of her more seriously as a music insider and not just a talk-show host.

“She’s already redecorating her dressing room and driving everyone crazy with demands.”

The source added that Ellen has “made comments about Simon Cowell’s dressing room being bigger than hers.”

Recent reports claimed Ellen — who replaced Paula Abdul on the hit show — wants a $150k wardrobe allowance for her judging stint.

“Ellen has demanded $150,000 for her Idol wardrobe this year,” a source told American tabloid the National Enquirer,” and she won’t take no for an answer.

“Ellen feels it’s only fair because Paula received a hefty allowance for hair, makeup and wardrobe.”
