SELENA Gomez hit the red carpet Friday night for the 41st NAACP Image Awards at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Selena, 17, recently revealed how she was snubbed by the cast of The Jersey Shore.

The Disney star says she invited them to appear on her show, Wizards of Waverly Place, but the group declined the offer.

“I invited them to my New York show because I was like: ‘OK, I have to invite The Jersey Shore to my New York show.’ And they called me back and they go: ‘[They're] booked ’til May’,” Selena said.

Gomez also confirmed that the cast of the show make more money per episode than the Disney Channel stars.

“Yeah but, you know, my mentality with all of that, especially when they ask me if I’m competitive with other artists or other people, is why?” she said.

“Why would I be competitive? We’re both living dreams that we get to do. I mean, I get to wake up and make kids laugh every day.”
