LEONARDO DiCaprio admits he isn’t satisfied with any of his work.

The star of Titanic and new movie Shutter Island says the reason he doesn’t want to star in comedies is down to his desire to find a satisfactory dramatic role.

“When will I lighten up in general?! I don’t know really, I respond to what I read and what I’ve read in these roles are characters that have moved me emotionally,” DiCaprio told reporters during a recent press conference for Shutter Island.

“You never really think that you’ve arrived there or done that role that satisfies that, so I’m driven to be able to some day, in my mind, emulate or get close to the great masterworks of great performers I’ve seen in cinema from years past.

‘I don’t know if that thirst will ever be quenched. I would love to try other genres and I look forward to doing them, it just depends on what moves me emotionally.”

Leo — who has an on/off romance with Israeli beauty Bar Refaeli — recently admitted that being alone is his “personal demon”.

“The loneliness is my personal demon. During the shooting of Shutter Island it was like I fell into a black hole and was totally depressed,” he said.

“You’re cut off from friends, family — and your girlfriend. That’s brutal. The world kept turning while I was stuck on the set. It’s like a strange form of everyday amnesia.”
