LADY GaGa has shot down claims she’s dating her art director Matthew Williams — insisting she’s “single” and “celibate”.

The Telephone singer, 23, is adamant there’s no one special in her life right now.

“I, for myself, make the choice to be single at this point in my life because I don’t have the time to get to know anybody. And you know what? It’s OK. Even Lady Gaga can be celibate,” GaGa told the UK’s Metro newspaper.

“If you can’t get to know somebody, you shouldn’t be having sex with them,” she added.

“It’s OK at this point, in this day and age, we have grown up and we now know that we can’t be that free with your love.”

GaGa recently insisted she won’t let a man get in the way of her red hot career.

“Some women choose to follow men, and some women choose to follow their dreams,” she said.

“If you’re wondering which way to go, remember that your career will never wake up and tell you that it doesn’t love you anymore.

“I wanted to sleep with as many rock ‘n’ roll guys as I could, and I’ve certainly had my fun.”
