JACK OSBOURNE SIGNS UP TO WORK FOR AIR SEA RESCUE

Posted by Adam

Jack OsbourneROCK offspring Jack Osbourne has a new vocation — he’s signed up to volunteer for the Air Sea Rescue in California.

The star of U.K. TV show Jack Osbourne: Adrenaline Junkie – whose parents are Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne — is set to work with the Air Sea Rescue in Malibu.

And his mother Sharon is proud of her son’s heroic efforts.

“[Ozzy's] worked hard all his life. It’s a work ethic we’ve instilled in our kids,” she told British newspaper The Guardian.

“Take Jack. He’s a reserve cop for Air Sea Rescue in Malibu. It would have been so easy for him to say, ‘I want to be a DJ’.

“Every idiot today wants to be a DJ. All they have to do is stand there and have no personality.”

Ozzy recently revealed that he often worries about Jack’s daredevil stunts.

“I’m a born worrier. Fear is my best friend and worst enemy. I worry if I have nothing to worry about. I don’t understand the way my girls work. Jack’s cool and Louis is OK,” the rocker said in October last year.

Working for search and rescue teams is pretty hardcore. They get involved in lots of surveillance and recovery operations that utilize some of the most advanced GPS tracking technology available.

    Way to go Jack!!!

Good for him! Everyone reaches a point in their life when they finally say “enough is enough, I’m going to be responsible and be somebody”. We saw it last year with Kelly, now Jack is becoming someone respectable! My hat’s off to both of them!

Sharon Osbourne is a BIG MOUTH! Her son WAS an idiot DJ, and he flopped at it…he tried being a music producer with his daddy’s money, and he flopped at that too! What a bunch of Limey loser twits…

Awesome. And since it’s only part-time, it won’t put a crimp in his alcohol & pot habit.

Tammy’s comment really hit it right on the head.

I met Jack en route to Mongolia. He was a pretty nice guy. I’m sure he’ll make a good rescue cop if he can keep the media from interfering in his work.
