TAYLOR Swift is always on her best behavior when she’s out and about — so she doesn’t end up giving gossip sources ammunition to make her look “bad”.

The Love Story singer — who’s known as Hollywood’s good-girl — admits she is often overly cautious because she is afraid of the consequences for her career.

“I over-think everything,” said the 20-year-old. “I over-analyze everything.

“I’ve had countless opportunities to do some really bad things. And then people start combing through everything I do trying to find the next mistake and misperception, which leads to more scrutiny.

“Like, if I go to a bar, even if I’m not drinking, who’s to say that a source isn’t going to say that I was doing something I shouldn’t have been doing? So it’s not only about your own moral compass, but the moral compasses of other people that you don’t know.”

Taylor — who has previously dated Jonas Brothers star Joe Jonas and Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner — recently admitted she owes her career to her various relationship woes.

“A letdown is worth a few songs. A heartbreak is worth a few albums,” she said earlier this week.
