Sandra Bullock Had Fun at The Oscars

Sandra BullockSANDRA Bullock had a ball at Sunday night’s Academy Awards.

The superstar — who bagged the Best Actress Oscar for her role in The Blind Side — says she felt more relaxed inside the big ceremony than she ever thought she would, despite all the award pressure she was under.

“When you get in the room you are surrounded by your colleagues, peers and people you have worked with and alongside for 15 years so that helps you be calm and just enjoy the process,” she said.

“It is a different and wonderful vibe and one that’s actually really enjoyable.

“In competitions — which I don’t like very much — there is a tendency for everyone on the outside to pit everyone against each other because it makes it more spicy, and actually when you get in there everyone is just happy to be with everybody else. We don’t want a battle.”

And on her Oscar win, she added, “More than anything I think they’re all just bored of me turning up so they’re hoping now I have the award I won’t be back! But I like it here. It’s a fun night out. And I don’t get out much!”

Bullock, 45, saw off competition from Helen Mirren, The Last Station; Carey Mulligan, An Education; Gabourey Sidibe, Precious: Based on the Novel Push by Sapphire; and Meryl Streep, Julie & Julia.

      I think she’s at a point in her life where she is very very comfortable with herself and it shows, she was confident, funny and very attractive.

    This gown was sooooooooooooo beautiful! She looked like a queen in this gown. I only have one tiny thing to say about her makeup though, it was a tad dark and it made her look a little off, but she still was one of the best dressed women of the evening
