Alicia Keys Confused at Start of Career

ALICIA Keys admits she was “confused” at the beginning of her career.
The Empire State of Mind hitmaker — who has sold a whopping 30million albums — says she had “no clue” where things were headed for her when she first entered the music business.
“I was trying to figure it out as I went,” she said. “I’d go into places and pretend I knew exactly how I was supposed to be, how it all works – and they believed me.
“I just sold it. But I had no clue. I was confused, didn’t know one thing from another and was just flying by the seat of my pants.”
