Corey Haim Dies Following Accidental Overdose

COREY Haim has died at the age of 38.

The actor and former teen idol was pronounced dead at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday following an accidental overdose.

Haim was found unresponsive inside an Oakwood apartment, between Burbank and the Hollywood Hills, police said.

His mother was at the home at the time.

The Canadian-born star — who has struggled with drug addiction — was then taken to Providence St. Joseph’s Medical Center in Burbank where medics failed to revive him, police said.

Coroner’s Lt. Cheryl MacWillie said an autopsy would determine an official cause of death.

Haim became a teen heartthrob in the 80s after appearing in the 1986 film Lucas and 1987′s The Lost Boys, which also starred fellow teen idol Corey Feldman.

D-I agree with you.Maybe this is the beginning of the wakeup call for hollywood and the studios.They should teach these kids how to deal with everyday regular life once they are no longer in the spotlight.Its got to be hard you are aloud into every club opening and every hot party in the hollywood hills and then they spit you out because you are no longer the hot commodity out there.I pray to god that all the twilight stars have a good head on their shoulders so this won’t happen to them once they are no longer the “it” thing.

Yesterday there were 2 Coreys, today there’s only one….We lost one heck of an actor and Trinity Broadcasting lost one heck of a revenue generator. Oh well, the upside? Corey’s finding out just how much God hates Paul, Jan, Paul Jr. and there heretic cohorts. Stealing from the poor, gullable and outright stupid in the name of Jesus is an atrocity and one for which there is a special place in Hell. Let’s hope getting overly high was Corey’s biggest sin as God more than forgives stupidity.

If I were able to Judge, the likes of Paul Crouch, Benny Hinn and all the rest of those who would fleece the stupid would be in Hell right now, burning. Corey Haim O.D., he wasn’t judged to death, he was a crappy actor who found underserved but shortlived fame, he made a 2nd career on TBN but wasn’t concerned about the depravity that is a constant on that station and finally, is there any question that TBN is a hotbed of heresy?

One makes an opinion, yet another complains that this person is being judgmental, yet the same person that is complaining is judging this individual him/herself.
Everyone has a right to his/her opinions, if you don’t like it then don’t respond.
My opinion is that, I find it so sad that these kids are put into Hollywood in the first place. I would never allow my child to enter acting at such a very young age. There are too many pressures in normal everyday life, let alone living a Hollywood life. My prayers go out to him and to his family. What a very tragic situation to go through. No one will ever know what Corey had been going through with his own personal emotions. I hope at some point in his life he found happiness within himself.

Well I just have one thing to say, I knew him as a person, him a I both got high dozens of times. he was a good harted person that you will ever meet, I gotten clen years ago when my son was born,, he was clean at the time of his death.
