HOWARD STERN UNDER FIRE FOR CRITICIZING GABOUREY SIDIBE

Howard SternHOWARD Stern has come under fire for criticizing Oscar-nominee Gabourey Sidibe.

On his Sirius satellite show Monday, the shock jock branded Sidibe — who was up for the Best Actress Oscar for her role in Precious –  the “most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen”.

“There’s the most enormous, fat black chick I’ve ever seen,” he said. “She is enormous. Everyone’s pretending she’s a part of show business and she’s never going to be in another movie.

“She should have gotten the Best Actress award because she’s never going to have another shot. What movie is she gonna be in?”

Stern and co-host Robin Quivers then went on to discuss the impossibility of Gabby finding any work in Hollywood after Precious.

“And Oprah’s lying and saying you’re going to have a brilliant career,” said Robin.

“Oprah’s another liar, a filthy liar,” said Stern. “She’s telling an enormous woman the size of a planet that she’s going to have a career.”

As you can imagine, Stern’s comments have gone down like a fart in an elevator.

The San Francisco Chronicle has branded the broadcaster a racist; and MTV says he’s an idiot.

They’re both correct. What do you think?

    He’s made millions off putting people down. If he’s going to verbally and publicly humiliate someone, he should try getting a nose job first and buy a friggin personality. There’s no denying that Sidibe is over weight. However, he’s almost condemning her for being big and black! Dude, both descriptions are given. He’s taking it to another level, but who cares. We have freedom of speech. His die hard cult-like followers will continue to embrace him and nothing will be done to minimize his earnings.

    Howard Stern is not a reasonable person. His show and his side clown, Robin thrive like parasites off of ‘what they conceive as good, bad, wrong and right” Because he has taken the low road to be a disgusting human being and justifying his actions, he gets the attention of media everywhere.

    So he said something not nice and his back up clown endorsed it, she of course would cause her as a slave to Howard needs the money. They are both high paid slaves, and feel entitled to say whatever crosses their mind, even if its wrong.

    Too bad for them and their children, if they have any. What a legacy to have on your back. My mother or father made money out of speaking hate.

    Gabby is beautiful, brilliant and confident….good for her and God bless.

    This is just typical Howard. But one thing amuses me though…. Why has it taken this long for the general public to realize he is nothing but a typical schoolyard bully who antagonizes and humiliates other people to make himself look good. To pick on a young girl is just plain low, and that so called sidekick of his….. WHAT AN UNCLE TOM!!!! I mean she might as well say ” yes massa, I’s do what you tell me to” She is a disgrace to intelligent black women everywhere..
    As for Howard, here’s food for thought…Sounds like an extreme case of the napoleon syndrome to me, only he’s NOT short in height so I wonder what else may be lacking????

    San Francisco, I love you, but you’re way too damn bleeding-heart. What does Howard Stern calling Gabourey Sidibe fat have to do with racism? Did we forget that is sidekick, who’s ALSO BLACK, was making fun of Gabourey too?

    And, c’mon people. I’m sure Gabourey is talented and has a sweet personality, but you can’t deny she’s unhealthy. If he were to criticize her for smoking, “There’s that chick who keeps lighting one up…” would people still be blasting him?

    We’ve all become way too p.c. and we forget that someone that big must be quite unhealthy.
