Adam LambertADAM Lambert says tripping on LSD helped him “find” himself.

The American Idol rudder-up said he’d advise other people lacking purpose to take the hallucinogenic drug because it’s “one method of finding yourself.”

“My trip led me to some epiphanies about who I was as a performer, what I wanted to do and how I needed to create my own opportunities,” he blabbed.

“When I got home, I started writing music with other people and went to the Idol audition.

“The vision was about finding opportunities. I wasn’t sitting in the desert in rave-wear thinking about Simon Cowell when I was on acid.”

The openly-gay star recently admitted he used to have casual sex with strangers.

    What a misleading article. Adam’s statement was he did take drugs during the Burning Man concert and during that high had a epiphany about his career and its direction…He has stated he is not for people to be drug addicts, he does not take drugs now that he is more mature…Please people…quit misquoting and changing what he said to get readers….The list of entertainers and regular people who have experimented with drug is long, very long….Hech, if you drink alcohol or take over the counter medicine you are taking drugs…give us a break.
