ELISHA CUTHBERT LANDS ROLE IN ABC COMEDY PILOT!

ELISHA Cuthbert has landed the lead female role in ABC’s comedy pilot Happy Endings.
The sitcom, written by David Caspe, reportedly around a bride (Cuthbert) and a groom (not yet cast) who, after breaking up at the altar, must figure out how they and their four friends can maintain their relationship.
The friends include Scrubs star Eliza Coupe, Casey Wilson from Saturday Night Live and My Wife and Kids actor Damon Wayans Jr.
Cuthbert — who’s best known for playing Jack Bauer’s daughter on 24 — joined The Forgotten only last month, in a recurring role alongside Christian Slater. Last week, ABC abruptly ended its first season, putting the future of the crime procedural into question.
It’s not yet known when Happy Endings will officially begin airing on ABC.
