Katherine Heigl Finally Leaves Grey’s Anatomy??

KATHERINE Heigl has apparently left Grey’s Anatomy.
The actress — who plays Dr. Izzie Stevens on the smash hit medical drama — was scheduled to return to the set of Grey’s on March 1 after three months of maternity leave.
But “she was not there,” a source close to the situation told People magazine.
People also claims the 27 Dresses actress is off the show for good after six years to focus on her film career.
Entertainment Weekly reports that Grey’s creator Shonda Rhimes has agreed to release Heigl from her contract, and it’s now left to ABC Studios and the actress’s rep to work out the final deal.
Recent reports claimed Heigl was keen to exit the show to focus fully on her fledgling film career.
“It wouldn’t be a shock,” a source said last month. “The level of speculation is no different than it has been in the past couple of years.”
