Amy Winehouse Teams up With Fred Perry For Fashion Line

AMY Winehouse is set to take on the fashion industry.
The troubled Rehab singer is set to team up with streetwear giants Fred Perry, who have asked her to create a range.
“I’m really excited,” Amy said. “We’ve been working on this collection for a while, it’s great to see it finally come to fruition.”
“We are excited Amy is working with us on this unique project,” Fred Perry said in statement to Britain’s Daily Star newspaper.
“Her sense of style and attitude to music and fashion pervades through this collaboration.”
Rumors of Amy’s deal with Fred Perry started last year after she was overheard bragging about it during her lengthy vacation on the Caribbean isle of St Lucia.
Winehouse’s sense of style has previously been praised by top fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
“Amy is a beautiful, gifted artist,” he has said. “And I very much like her hairdo. I took it as an inspiration. Because, in fact, it was also Brigitte Bardot’s hairdo in the late Fifties and Sixties. And now Amy has made it her own style.
“So, when I saw her, I knew it was the right moment. Amy . . . she is the new Brigitte.”
