JENNIFER Aniston‘s best pal Courteney Cox is worried about the actress’ renewed romance with Gerard Butler.

Cox apparently thinks Butler will break Aniston’s heart — and she’s going to have to pick up the pieces when their romance hits the skids.

“She’s behind Jennifer 100 percent in whomever she wants to date but she’s looking out for her and wants to make sure she doesn’t get crushed,” a source told the Betty Confidential website.

“Jennifer has a habit of falling for the wrong man. She tends to get too serious, too soon.

“And that’s what happened the first time she and Gerard started dating. Luckily, they remained friends and are trying again.”

But despite Courteney’s concerns, the insider insists she will stick around if things don’t go to plan between Jen and Gerard.

“Courteney is strong, rational, and always knows what’s right. She’s the go-to person for advice,” says the source. “She always has her best girl’s interest at heart. When it comes right down to it, they are like sisters.”
