AMANDA Seyfried thinks it’s “f**ked up” and “twisted” that she has to stay skinny.

The Dear John actress always works out and watches what she eats because she fears piling on the pounds will cost her movie roles.

“If I didn’t run and work out, there’s no way I would be this thin,” Amanda told Britain’s Glamour magazine. “But I have to stay in shape because I’m an actress.

“It’s f**ked up and it’s twisted, but I wouldn’t get the roles otherwise. If I’d been a bit bigger, I don’t think they would have cast me for Mamma Mia!”

Amanda, 24, recently admitted it felt “unnatural” shooting sex scenes for her new movie Chloe.

“It was unnatural — I say that with a grin,” said the star, who is currently dating British actor Dominic Cooper.

“Seriously, it is not the type of scene any actor is ever comfortable doing. Any kind of intimacy is strange. It is not your partner; it’s the actor or actress.

“I don’t know what goes through my mind when I do these scenes. I am listening to Atom’s technical directions, because things need to be in sync with the camera’s movement.”
