DAVID BECKHAM TO TURN TV STAR DURING WORLD CUP?

David BeckhamDAVID Beckham might be taking part in the World Cup after all.

The soccer hunk — who is currently recuperating from the torn Achilles tendon which has wrecked his dream of appearing at a record fourth World Cup — has been swamped by offers from BBC, ITV and ESPN to be a World Cup pundit in South Africa.

The networks are all reportedly prepared to pay whatever it takes to get David on their sofas for the finals.

“David has a lot of different offers coming in but he cannot get his head round any of them at the moment,” a source told Britain’s The Sun.

Beckham, 34, also has the chance to step up his duties as the country’s 2018 World Cup ambassador during the finals with the vote on where the tournament will be staged taking place at the end of the year.

“The most important thing he is thinking about right now is that he recovers from this injury and gets back playing again,” the source added.
