Shia LaBeouf: ‘Carey Mulligan and I Aren’t Fame Whores’

Shia LaBeoufSHIA LaBeouf has revealed why he doesn’t hit the red carpet with his actress girlfriend Carey Mulligan.

The Transformers actor — who stars opposite the British beauty in upcoming movie Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps — says he and Mulligan aren’t fame whores, which is why their relationship works.

“She’s an unbelievably thought-provoking actress, the most talented actress I’ve met in my life, by leaps and bounds,” he said.

“Neither one of us are fame whores. It works out. It’s not like we’re the premiere couple — we’re not the red carpet king and queen.”

Still on the subject of fame whores, Shia then hit out at reality TV star Khloe Kardashian for criticizing him after he crashed his car.

“I’d be watching the news, and they’d play my car crash, and every once in a while Kim Kardashian‘s sister would jump on TV and preach to me from the red carpet about how to live my f**king life,” he said.

“And I’m so upset, man. I’m so angry. Because this accident was not caused by me. I got hit. I had a green [light]. This f**ker ran a red light. And he flipped my truck, and he shoveled it on my hand. And my fingers are in the street… they’re off, they’re under the truck door, man.”

    Stop rationalizing that the accident was not your fault and crying about getting injured. You got in a car DUI and you drove. You got lucky that you did not kill someone else. We get that it is not your fault but your whiney comments indicate you have learned nothing.
