Paula AbdulPAULA Abdul is heading back to TV!

The former American Idol judge, 47, is reportedly finalizing a deal to help ABC launch a new version of Star Search, the classic TV talent contest from the ’80s.

According to Entertainment Weekly magazine, Abdul will juggle a combination of hosting and judging duties for the show, which could debut this summer.

An ABC rep refused to comment.

The original Star Search, hosted by Ed McMahon, ran in syndication from 1983 until 1995 and featured comedy, modeling and dancing as well as singing.

The show featured performances by many future stars, including Beyoncé, Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears in the early ’90s.

Abdul — who left Idol last August after eight seasons — has already responded to the Star Search rumors, although she remained coy.

“Once again, until you hear it from me, you can’t believe what you read ;) Lots of love! Paula,” she wrote on her Twitter account Tuesday.
