TOM CRUISE THINKS DAVID BECKHAM SHOULD RETIRE FROM FOOTBALL!!

David Beckham and Tom CruiseTOM Cruise is “devastated” that his soccer star pal David Beckham won’t be able to play in the World Cup.

The Top Gun star and wife Katie Holmes have been among the first to comfort Beckham following his shock injury playing for AC Milan at the weekend.

But among the heartfelt sympathy, Tom has been preparing Becks for the next chapter in his superstar career.

“Tom is devastated for David but at the same time he feels this is a sign that it’s time for him to move on from soccer,” reveals a source close to the actor. “He can see a biopic of David Beckham being just the beginning of his new role as a sporting ambassador and Hollywood star.

“He’s sure David will make a full recovery and play again — and that will be the perfect ending to his story as a sporting legend.”

Meanwhile, David — who’s married to fashionista Victoria Beckham — has been approached by networks ITV, ESPN and the BBC to be a World Cup pundit in South Africa.

The broadcasters are all reportedly prepared to pay whatever it takes to get David on their sofas for the finals.

This latest fillm is an action-comedy centered on a fugitive couple on a glamorous and sometimes unsafe adventure where nothing and no 1 – even themselves – are what they appear at first sight. In the course of changing alliances and unusual betrayals, they race across the globe, with their survival ultimately dependant on the battle of truth versus trust- I struggles to wait for this to come out.
