Madonna to Launch Sunglasses Collection

MadonnaMADONNA is set to design her own collection of sunglasses.

The pop superstar is teaming up with Italian fashion giants Dolce & Gabbana to launch the MDG line.

The first six styles will hit stores this May, according to British newspaper The Sun.

Madge — who already appears in ads for for D&G — will also be the face of the MDG advertising campaign.

Meanwhile, it has been claimed that the 51-year-old singer has written a letter to Britain’s Queen Elizaebth to see if she’ll let her film scenes for her new movie, W.E., in royal palaces.

The project will dig the dirt on the Queen’s uncle’s affair back in the 30s, when he caused a crisis by giving up the throne.

“Madonna is keen to make the film as authentic as possible and would be very grateful if she were allowed to film at certain locations,” a source close to the star told British tabloid the Daily Star.

“She loves the UK and holds your Queen in the highest regard.”

    I do not think the Queen will go for that , given to Madonna’s

    reputation as of date. Her respect for the Queen is admirable, but I doubt if her personal lifestyle will boost the Queen’s decision, and she might not want to lend her name to it.
