Robert Pattinson: ‘Twilight is a Stepping Stone’

Posted by Adam

Robert PattinsonROBERT Pattinson says Twilight is a “very nice stepping stone”.

The British actor — who plays vampire Edward Cullen in the smash hit film franchise — is grateful to have had so much recognition early in his career.

“The world looks like a mountain to me,” he said. “But I definitely feel like – I’m going to make the worst analogy — I’ve got some good boots on.

“All this stuff at the beginning of my career is a very nice stepping stone.”

Rob, 23, recently revealed how he thought it was “brilliant” to see a rumor in a magazine that he was pregnant.

“There was one rumor that I saw in a magazine saying I was pregnant,” he said earlier this month. “I thought that was brilliant and it still crops up now. But it’s definitely not true. I can promise you that.

“I tend not to read that stuff any more though because it can drive you mad.”

i think Harry potter was the stepping stone to your career.Twilight might be your biggest hit of your career if RM doesn’t do better at the box off ice then it did its first weekend.

EJ The film doesn’t open here until, I think its 2nd April so there’s a large gap between the dates, I think at the end of it all, it will have done well.

The bad weather and economy is effecting the sales plus the fan base turned off and tuned out thanks to all the ROBSTEN hype bull.

This seems to be an effort to wreck Summit and Rob by the other studios and the “critiques”. Matt Damon’s movie Green Day cost far more and did much worse…yet not a peep about that from the usually suspects.

Remember Me received some acclaim and good reviews. It was not released broadly or promoted well. Rob was filming Bel Ami and busy for promo of it. It is just very different in tone and film style than the typical gore, action, sex and America bashing type movies pumped out of the cesspool called Hollyweird.
