JUDE Law wants to do “two more” Sherlock Holmes movies.

The British actor — who played Dr. Watson in the Guy Ritchie-directed movie — admits he’s surprised a sequel to the blockbuster with Robert Downey Jr. has not been confirmed yet but is sure he and Holmes will be back on the case soon.

“I really hope we do two more,” said Jude. “I had a ball making the first one but I haven’t heard that we’re definitely going to do a sequel but I think it’s likely.”

Meanwhile, Jude, 37, will play a blogger in his next movie role after signing up to star in Steven Soderbergh‘s thriller, Contagion.

“I play a kind of unbridled blogger who’s a sort of scaremonger,” Law said earlier this month.

“They’re saving it ’til the end of the year because I got a lot of method, a lot of deep character work I got to do to get there.”
