Whitney Houston Not Heading to Rehab

DON’T worry, everyone — Whitney Houston isn’t heading to rehab!
Recent reports in American tabloid the National Enquirer claimed the I Wanna Dance With Somebody hitmaker — who has a history of drug abuse — was set to seek treatment after falling off the wagon.
The magazine also claimed that the 46-year-old suffered a “horrifying backstage collapse”.
But Whitney’s lawyer, Marty Singer, has spoken out to set the record straight.
“Whitney is not headed to rehab. She is headed to Paris, where she will be continuing her world tour,” Singer said in statement Thursday.
“It is ironic that at the same time that the Enquirer claims it is deserving of a Pulitzer for journalism [for breaking the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter affair story], the tabloid is continuously publishing stories comprised of brazen lies cobbled together from claims made from anonymous sources,” Singer fumes.
Whitney released her first album in seven years, I Look To You, to strong reviews last September. The six-time Grammy winner has sold more than 170 million singles, albums and videos worldwide.
