Robert Pattinson Worried About Remember Me Reception

The actor — who became a household name playing vampire Edward Cullen in the Twilight movie franchise — admits he’s worried about the reception his new movie Remember Me will receive.

“It does worry me that when a film has a lot of attention, most audiences are used to having all their buttons pressed, and it doesn’t really press the same buttons as other films,” the British actor, 23, told the UK’s Sky News.

“I hope people don’t go into it thinking, ‘I am going to watch a really happy romantic drama’, because it is not really.”

Rob recently revealed how he enjoyed filming sex scenes with his Remember Me costar Emilie De Ravin.

“Yeah, I enjoy it,” he said earlier this month. “I’m a man. It’s part of the job.

“It’s always scarier, much more scary, for the girls I think. Emilie was just completely comfortable in herself and it makes you feel so much better on the inside.

“It’s great if the other person is completely comfortable with it. I’m always much more worried about the girl in these situations.”

    My family loved Remember Me. I have seen it twice now. It is a moving film that really makes you think. Rob was fantastic in it. It is a must see. Two thumbs up!!

    I loved Remember Me! It could be anyone’s story in real life. The characters were great! I wish people would stop comparing ‘Tyler’ to ‘Edward Cullen’! I love the Twilight series, but it’s nice to see Rob stepping out in different genres. I think Rob has a great future ahead of him. I hope to see more of his movies in the future.

    Well I found the pictures of Rob and his supposely girlfriend Kelly!! I can’t believe he would lead Kristen Stewart on like this and get another girl pregnant – it goes to show you he is like every other man out there. I am upset that atudio would have this much control over people’s lives to make their ignore a pregnant girlfriend and to hurt someone like Kristen. Oh she Kristen is beautiful I am sure that she will find someone to love!!! AND for this Summit co. to think that the fans are dumba– and that they need to feed us a line of BULL== to get people to go to their movies or buy DVDs is sick!!! They need to stop this crap!!! And Rob if this is true; you need to tell the world the true!!!

    The reason Remember Me was not a box office smash is because of bad publicity about Rob pumped out by the gossip rags, sites, paparazzi, ROBsten shippers and Awful Truth. It effected turnout and so did bad weather and the recession.

    The traditional fan base supported the Twi Movie because they wanted to see Edward brought to life and liked Rob after he toured the country. They got to see in interviews how nice and funny he is. All the lies started coming out about him impregnating girls, dumping Kristen (she is bi and came out at Sundance Film Festival) and that he was a womanizer and gay. ALL LIES!

    Rob real life is pretty boring and busy. He wants to wait until the media attention dies down before he tries to have a private life again. Listen to his interviews and he says in his own words and voice (I don’t make this up) that he is a nice, moral, decent, romantic and full of faith guy. This endearing and talented guy should be admired for his principles and professionalism. He is friends with Kristen from doing 3 movies together and touring.

    The more the media linked Kristen with Rob….the more the romantic, straight and traditional fan base of the Twi Series turned off. Kristen is combative, crude, rude, strange, offensive, nasty and so hard to like off camera. The fan base of teens and their traditional and moral moms don’t want this strange punk pushed at their kids by Summit.

    This really nice guy’s character has been damaged by all the lies and Robsten believers. The movie is special and so is Rob. View the videos here and educate yourselves and stop the lies about his sexuality and private life.
    He just cares about his health, who he is intimate with and follows the teachings of his faith. God bless Robert!

    Kristen is gay or bi. Summit has a problem on their hands as every time she opens her mouth, she creates havoc. Until they gave her a warning and told her to act straight and dress like a girl, she caused bad publicity. Read Entertainment Weekly August and all her print interviews in Vanity Faire, Harpers, Nylon and more. She is a media disaster and liability NOT just because she is gay but because she offends, is combative, crude, a bad role model for teens, revolting and has ruined her reputation.

    Who does Summit think supported the movies?? Gays and weed heads? The books have no sex, gore, bad language or America bashing…hardly their cop of tea.

    You lost the fan base Summit by all your machinations and not setting Kristen the Crude straight. Fire her for ethics violations. How many people keep their jobs after they behave and say what she has to the press and fans.

    Barbara Walters from the View interviewed Rob and Emilie about Remember Me…his family is in the audience -mom, uncle, and 2 sisters. Rob is really open as usual in the interview. Anyway….Barbara who has been around the block a few times and is considered savvy told Rob that he was amazing in the movie and like James Dean. Rob talks about the modesty thing he had to wear during the love scene filming and panic attack at Twi premier.
