The Kimora: Life In The Fast Lane star has hit out at shows like the Gosselins’ Jon & Kate Plus 8.

“I would never do a show like [that],” she told E! News. “My show is not like that. My show is about me as a businesswoman.

“My kids are the B-story or C-story… You’re just not watching them run through the house and have temper tantrums and pick out what they’re wearing for dinner.”

Simmons — who is mom to daughters Ming, 10, and Aoki, 7 — explained that her children don’t watch many programmes.

“We just don’t watch a lot of TV,” she said. “TV’s kind of crap. Even the news is crap.”

The 34-year-old insisted she’d “absolutely not” watch the smash MTV show Jersey Shore.

“I have a house in Jersey,” she said. “I don’t need to know what the kids are doing on the shore. I can only imagine. I’ve seen the hair — no thank you!”

        Kimora Lee Simmons is EXACTLY that…an idiot!! I’ve always thought there’s something “evil” about her…..can’t put a finger on it, but what an asinine thing to say when You Yourself have a “reality” T.V. show…..Furthermore, her life isn’t AT ALL glamorous, at least not to me….she was once married to someone who’s “all over the place” (my opinion), not consistent at all, then got divorced (not judging, it happens), had a baby “out of wed-lock” (again, not judging, but it’s the truth), and then she looks much older than 34 (to me), so she has NO room to talk about Kate or Jon for that matter…mind your own business Kimora and stop fishing for ratings and controversy!!!

    I’ve seen Kimora’s show and she does more than film the career side of her life; she has filmed her girls, and other aspects of her personal life. So she needs to get over herself.

    She is a survivor and a career woman in her own right, so stop slamming her. She married a good guy, it did not work out. She was a successful model, a beauty, and made $$. She was not a gold digger. He fell head over heels and pursued her for years, and they had a good marriage, for years, which produced two beautiful daughters, but things just did not work out. Sometimes when spouses go into business together, it is too much, and things start falling apart. She loved him very much, you can just tell, and the split was very hard for her. So, please STOP SLAMMING HER. Having her own show is just another “gig,” she is in the public eye, it is another way of promoting her baby phat line of clothing wear. She is a winner, a female clothing designer like Donna Karan, etc . . . She just happens to be a woman with an opinion. Too bad society has not advanced to handle that yet.

      I have watched a few episodes of Kimora’s show and it isn’t bad. Its no different than watching Donald Trump’s show, the Apprentice …only she’s living the dream and making things happen. She even moved her children closer to their father so that he could be near them.

    Just FYI her and #2 ARE NOT LEGALLY MARRIED. There was a ceremony preformed in his native country in fromt of his relatives,; however the “marriage” is not legal here in the states.     People are acting as if Russell Simmons was used by Kimora. She was Karl Lagerfield’s muse for House of Chanel at age 13. When you think about, you never really know the names of models that are not doing commercial modeling as well. Kimora did Haute Couture so therefore, was less heard of, but that doesn’t mean she wasn’t paid. And of course, we all know that Russell had beaucoup money. That doesn’t mean she used him. If you watch her True Hollywood Story, Russell came after her when she was young and Tyra Banks told him to step off because she was too young. He was persistent and when Kimora started talking to him, he had plenty of model girlfriends. His mother passed and he started acting “different” and she stayed with him through all of it!! Also, yes he had Phat Farm, but Kimora is Baby Phat. Baby Phat actually saved Phat Fashions period because guys had stopped rocking Phat Farm, but ladies love them some Baby Phat. So, she has contributed to building his empire. Yes, she does have a reality show, and I agree with her. If I was Jon or Kate, I am not sure if I would want my children to be the main focus of the show, but then to Jon and Kate’s defense, it was an opportunity to make money to support all ten of them. Bottom line, Kimora probably shouldn’t have commented although I agree with her. Her show is entertaining to me and she did not use Russell Simmons. I have heard the following rumor: “Allegedly, Russell is bisexual, really homosexual and likes to put on a facade for the public by always having a model on his arm.” If this is true, she really helped his image because unfortunately, it’s not okay to be who you are in some industries.     I live in South Africa, and we have the E! Channel on dish. Every add break on E! Is about kimora. I have never in my life seen anyone like kimora, she thinks she has a golden vagina.
