Michael Jackson’s Doctor to Lose Medical License

Conrad MurrayA PETITION has been filed to prevent Michael Jackson’s doctor from practicing medicine.

California’s Attorney General submitted papers Wednesday stating that Dr. Conrad Murray should have his medical license restricted while he faces involuntary manslaughter charges relating to the singer’s death last June.

The petition states Dr. Murray — who is accused of administering the prescription anaesthetic Propofol which killed the pop legend — of “poor professional judgment and placing the life of a patient in jeopardy”.

Attorney General Jerry Brown said, “The defendant is alleged to have administered a lethal dose of Propofol and other powerful drugs to patient MJ, which resulted in the patient’s death.

“The exercise of such poor professional judgment and placing the life of a patient in jeopardy requires that the California Medical Board take measures to protect the public from future harm.”

Dr. Murray — who is due back in court in April — is currently licensed to practice medicine in Texas, California and Nevada.

Last month, a judge ordered the 57-year-old physician not to use anaesthesia on his patients but rejected requests to have his license suspended.

If found guilty of involuntary manslaughter, Murray — who has admitted giving Propofol to the Thriller star but denies any wrongdoing — faces up to four years in prison.

    Do u really think Dr. Conrad Murray will try to send MJ to his early grave intentionally? NO, I don’t think he will.So please think carefully before taking any decisions. remember he has been with MJ for so many years without trying to harm him but save his life. Only God knows why MJ has to leave us so soon. Do not send an innocent man to prison. I think he has saved many people from many diseases and he is still trying to save more, so please think.
    Have u for once thought about his patients before taking such actions against him.

    it is amazing that Murray’s license has not been taken away. This man should spend his life in prison for the utter disregard of human life and neglectful manner he showed toward Michael Jackson….and then clearly admitted his guilt in his attempt to cover his ass. He should have been charged with murder #2, not man slaughter. It is outrageous this man still can practice medicine. Laws MUST be changed in this man goes free or gets a slap on the wrist. This is not justice,it is a sham.
