Janet Jackson Struggling to Get Back Into Music

The pop superstar — who is still reeling from the June 2009 death of her brother, pop superstar Michael Jackson — is concentrating on acting in a number of movie projects until she finds the strength to get back in the studio for a new album and a new sound.

“I’ve been really concentrating on the acting,” says Janet, who stars in upcoming comedy Why Did I Get Married Too? “They’ve been wanting to sit and talk with me about recording but I haven’t been able to tell them what I want to do.

“There have been a lot of record labels that have asked me to sit down and talk with them but I haven’t decided exactly where I want to go, or what I want to do.”

Janet, 43, recently admitted she’s emotional eater.

“People always ask me about the weight loss and weight gain and how I got it off,” she said earlier this week.

“Instead of writing a book about nutrition and how I got it off in times when I’ve really needed to, I decided to start from the beginning, start from my childhood.

“It’s not an autobiography, but there are events in my childhood that created issues that may have made it an issue for me, weight loss, weight gain and self-esteem.”

    Janet is not struggling. She’s just taking her time with music since she’s been busy with her new movie and upcoming book. I’m sure she’ll be releasing a new album later on this year. Struggling is the last thing Janet is doing right now with so many great projects she’s involved in this year.

    janet always had other dreams such as acting and she really at one time wanted to work at mcdonalds
