Gabourey Sidibe Banished From The Pages of Vogue?

Gabourey SidibeGABOUREY Sidibe has been told she’s too fat to appear on the front cover of Vogue magazine.

The Oscar-nominated Precious star apparently won’t feature in the revered fashion magazine because of her size — and they won’t have any clothes to fit her.

“She’s a joke in the fashion community,” a source told the Popeater website.

“What she wore on the red carpet at the Academy Awards wasn’t a dress, it was a tent.

“Vogue is the venue where designers debut their best new pieces.

“All of which are one of a kind and sample size. It would be impossible to get a regular-sized girl in those clothes, let alone Gabby.”

Recent reports claimed media mogul Oprah Winfrey doubts the rotund actress’ future in Hollywood.

    Well, thankfully, what a fashion magazine thinks of someone’s looks isn’t the opinion that really matters.

    I agree. These anorexia-inducing magazines are the very reason that we have so many girls (myself included formerly) who hate their bodies. Gabby has the talent and skills, so I doubt a snobby mag like Vogue. Hopefully she will be the person to start the evolution to a society who isn’t obssesed with body image.
