MADONNA is helping her daughter Lourdes launch a career in Hollywood — she’s giving the teen a role in the new film she is directing.

The pop superstar is set to begin shooting  W.E – a film about Edward VIII, who abdicated the British throne to marry American divorcee Wallis Simpson — later this year.

And according to reports, Madge has used her influence to get Lourdes, 13, a small part.

“She’s arranged a small role for Lourdes,” a source told British newspaper The Sun.

“It’s not a significant part but it will give her a good taste of life in the movie business.

“Lourdes has made it clear she wants some kind of career in the entertainment industry and her mum is more than happy to help.

“She’s already an incredible dancer, thanks to years of classes and she’s also been having singing training.”

Recent reports claimed Lourdes is keen to become a fashion designer.

“Despite being so young, she’s a girl who knows exactly what she wants and how to get it,” a source told the UK’s Now magazine earlier this week.

“She’s doesn’t seem to be struck with much of the teenage angst that other children go through at her age — she’s very self-confident and quite mature.

“She’s only 14, but has her sights set on becoming a clothes designer. She doesn’t care if people think she’s too young. She just goes for it.

“She has her own ideas and vision and she’s creative. And she expects a 
lot from her future.”
