Lindsay Lohan Earns Less Than MTV Reality Star?

Lindsay LohanLINDSAY Lohan is earning money solely from personal appearances — and she’s making less than a trashy MTV reality star, according to a new report.

The Mean Girls actress — who was once viewed as one of the best actresses of her generation — gets $5,000 to $10,000 to show up at a party.

“When Lindsay does get paid for attending events, she now gets $5,000 to $10,000, basically less than Snooki makes,” a source told Fox News.

“It is sad and it is only getting worse. The few people that care about Lindsay want her to get help, but she is scared to trust anyone, thanks to her father, and she doesn’t want to hear this. We are worried for Lindsay and where her life is going.”

The source said Lohan, 23, cries often and opens up emotionally to strangers.

“She will open up to young assistants that are dropping something off for her or helping her for an event,” said the worried pal. “She needs good friends and she has none. Lindsay is in crisis.

“Lindsay is really going through a lot right now. She feels like everyone leaves her and she’s all alone. The stuff with her dad this week going public yet again about her only serves to make her ignore help further.

“If she does get work, which is really rare anymore, someone has to basically be by her side to get her ready for the event or meeting and make sure she shows up.”

Recent reports claimed Lindsay is struggling to pay her rent.

    I think most of the young actors today get paid too much for not enough acting talent. Lohan is just other one of these HollyWood actors that thinks she can do anything or say anything and it will be fine. Not so.

    I think Lindsey can have a better life if she gets some new friends who are willing to help her. She should look at Robert Downey Jr. he turned his life around and I believe she can do it too.

    Some “stars” need to realize that they are not “stars” at all. No longer the privileged, jusr regular folk. Get yourself clean, get a job like the rest of us, show up on time, do your work.

    Lindsey needs to realize that it is time to sever all ties with her father and accept that he is like poison and his disturbing narcissism runs deep. Even adult children cling to destructive parents ( and their opinions) in hopes of rewriting the story. Lindsey was raised by whacky, exploitative parents in the even more screwy atmosphere of Hollywood. If she would start again, independently, tap back into the talent that made her successful and channel some of those emotions into a meaty role… she would probably do quite well. If she would ignore what her father, media and others say that is negative ( even though many times true ) and just focus on doing the right things, growing up, maturing….. her father will fade away as the moron he is ( noone gives a damn about him EXCEPT for what he stirs up about Lindsey ) and paparazzi would have nothing to report! Dare I say… if Brittany can do it…. anyone can! These are kids… they deserve a little break…but it is time for Linsey to get it together and be of more substance.

    One of the wealthiest women in the world????????????? Where do you get your information?, Dollar world? If you spend it as fast as you make it and them stop making it, what happens? Yes brittney came back, but britney had more to start with and her fall wasn’t quite as far.

    Stop making excuses for Lindsey, she is a grown arze woman. Lindsey life is in ruins because Lindsey chose that. With her wild parties, unruly friends, boozing and drugging, no one to blame but Lindsey. As for being one of the wealthiest women, ya telling me something new. Yes she made money at one point in her life, she was by no means one of the wealthiest. This young lady had a bright future in front of her, but chose the other route. Some actresses that start their careers young turn out just fine and others just go downhill, such as Lindsey.
