BRITISH royal Prince William will announce his engagement to girlfriend Kate Middleton in June this year, according to a new report.

A high-placed royal source has told The Daily Beast website that two days in June have been mysteriously blocked out on the palace diaries — June 3 and 4 — leaving many to speculate that the young couple will finally confirm speculation they’re set to tie the knot.

Sources say the wedding will take place in November — like the wedding of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, who married at Westminster Abbey in 1947.

William, 27, and Kate, 28, began dating in 2003.

Reports claimed earlier this year that Middleton was left furious after being told she couldn’t embark on a career as a photographer.

“Kate was told photography couldn’t be an appropriate occupation for someone in her position,” a source said at the time.

“It’s just not something she would be able to continue after marriage.

“Of course it sounds old-fashioned and unfair — and it is — but she has to either like it or lump it.”
