Selena Gomez Blasts Nick Jonas Rumors

Selena GomezSELENA Gomez has shot down claims she’s dating Jonas Brothers rocker Nick Jonas — insisting she’s “very much single”.

The Wizards of Waverly Place star, 17, says she hasn’t got time for a boyfriend.

“Not true — I’m single very much single,” Jonas said of the rumors she’s dating Jonas.

“I’m trying to tackle everything — which is good because I’m young and I really should kind of date myself for a while — I should probably focus on myself a little bit.”

Selena then insisted she’s not trying to compete with fellow teen stars Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato.

“I will totally, completely speak for myself on this one, I don’t know them very well, so I don’t know how they would… but I’m saying that I’m very lucky and that I love what I do, so there’s no room for competition for me,” she said.

“I just want to continue to do what I’m doing and I shouldn’t really focus on what everyone else doing, and enjoy what I’m doing.”

Gomez recently confessed she’s a “complicated” lady.

“I’m not simple. I think I’m as complicated as it can get, to be honest,” she said. “I over-analyze things.

“I constantly am thinking about the next thing and what the future is rather than just enjoying it, which is my biggest lesson.

“I need to find someone that can just calm me down from that, because I’m constantly everywhere.”

      i totally agree with you she is a backstabber and completely fake.she is exactly what disney wants a sweet,young,so called “innocent” girl which i highly doubt she is like that but she is everything people want her to be and will never break out of the disney mold like miley has done greatly and demi has done kind of but selena is no compitition to miley or demi she doesn’t even compare because she has no musical ability whatsoever and is a semi-good actress with a show that is going to die out very soon.so selena is not going to last and she is just plain fake!

    she’s not being fake.
    She only hung out with Miley for a short while when shooting hannah montana and maybe a little after that, but nothing much – she doesn’t know much? possible duh!

    Demi? maybe she did know the PREVIOUS Demi very well, but i dont think she knows much of the Demi that left her and went to hang about Miley just cause their schedules collided and they couldn’t hang out much.

    She only means that she doesnt know them in the sense of not know what they would do in the same situation,and she’s not fake! She’s the a person like everyone else. If she was to make one mistake then you would call her fake,no one’s perfect! But she comes pretty close.

    selena is an extremely good role model…she is different than most teen stars out there…she cares about her fans and family and is a very well spoken girl.. she is not a ” fake”.. its just thts how she do things…she comes close to being the perfect person but shes not nobody is…
