MATTHEW Fox has bought himself a glider — but can’t fly it yet!

The Lost actor — who plays Doctor Jack Shephard in the US series — intends to finish flying lessons once filming for the drama is completed, which is why he’s just treated himself to an expensive Bonanza G36 aircraft.

“I have my glider license and a private pilot license, and I’m working on getting my LFR license,” he said.

“My plane is absolutely the most amazing piece of equipment I’ve ever been around. I flew one and then ordered my own.”

The handsome actor — who has two children with wife Margherita Ronchi — thinks he’s a good pilot because he has a “mathematical” brain.

“I understand the mechanics of flight,” he said. “I’m very mathematical and scientific, and I love the speed and freedom of being able to go from point A to point B in the most direct way.”

Despite his talents, the 43-year-old star has yet to take his family up in the air, which is why he can’t wait to complete the training.

“My wife can’t wait until I say, ‘It’s time for you and me to go flying’,” he said.
