Scarlett Johansson Laughs Off Gwyneth Paltrow Feud Rumors

Scarlett JohanssonSCARLETT Johansson has laughed off rumors of a feud between herself and her Iron Man 2 costar Gwyneth Paltrow – insisting the Running With Scissors star was a huge support during filming.

The Lost in Translation actress — who plays sexy baddie Black Widow in the sequel — was heavily outnumbered by Robert Downey Jr. and his pals on set but luckily Gwyn came to her rescue.

“I was so lucky because I had Gwyneth to counterbalance all that testosterone,” says Scarlett. “It certainly was a bit of a boys’ club.

“Luckily I am entertained by all of that. I think that for the guys this movie was their playground, they had all of the big toys and all of the big action sequences.

“Luckily I exuded enough femininity to kind of quieten them down a little bit!”

Scarlett recently revealed that the sexy Lycra suit she wears in Iron Man 2 was “tight but not too tight.”

“The suit I wore was tight but not too tight but it was hot in there,” she said.

“I had to do a lot of stunts and wire work and I can tell you Lycra can be a bit hot in those situations.”

    Funny how Johansson, one of the few women on the set, had to wear a “Sexy Lycra” suit while all of the men got to wear big clunky metal (Aka styrofoam) suits. Just another case of women being put down and objectified in Hollywood movies.
